Sunni and Shia Friday prayer leaders in Syria underscored making unity against the enemies’ plots.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Shia prayer leader in Islam prophet Mosque, Seyed Ahmad Zeitoun pointed to the issue of Sudan division and said when the U.S and its allies saw that their malignant aims faced with fiasco in the Middle East, they endeavored to reach their goals in different way.

He called Sudan division plot as a tragedy for Arab World and expressed his happiness over the U.S failure for dividing Iraq.

“Fortunately by forming the Iraqi government, this plot was foiled,” he said, adding that,” by the presence of some countries such as Iran, Syria and their resistance, many U.S and Israeli plots was nullified in the region.”

Regarding the case, the Friday prayer leader of al-Vasim Mosque in Syria also mentioned, “Islamic ummah should have unique approach because contradictory approaches would destroy the Islamic and Arab countries.”

“We see that in Qur'an, God underscores the necessity of unity,” he mentioned as added, “Via making unity among Muslims we can work at the service of society and people.”

Zahir Ghousan, the prayer leader of al-Zahra Mosque in Damascus said,” Unfortunately we selected some countries in the Arab World as our friends but they betrayed us and helped enemies to accomplish their plots in the region.”

One of the Muftis in Alepo of Syria, Sheikh Mahmoud Okam said all the people in the Islamic countries should be united and stand against the enemies plots.
